No, Fitbit App doesn’t allow you to connect and sync the Garmin device. Similarly, the other companion apps also don’t let the trackers from other companies sync with them. So, if you want to track your progress on your Garmin, then you will need to use the “Garmin Connect” which is the companion app for the Garmin trackers.
